Especially considering how important magnesium is. If you don't have enough magnesium, you can experience depression, insomnia, anxiety, migraines, even if you're running low. It also decreases the frequency of panic attacks. So I'm going to be explaining why we're deficient and how to fix it fast. So let's get started. So as I said, 80% of us in the Western world are magnesium deficient. That's eight out of ten people. Most people have no idea. So the reason that this has happened is due to soil depletion and processing of our foods. So this is to do with farmers not leaving fields to be fallow, not letting the soil come back to being nutrient rich. Then you also have the chemical pesticides and other chemicals that are being sprayed on the crops as well as in the soil. So our grandparents' generation, or even our great grandparents' generation, have got plenty of magnesium from their food, but now the soil is exhausted, and as I said, a lot of the foods we eat are very processed, and so they have their nutrients stripped out.
